In 1998, a full time job as a cashier turned into the opportunity to work in the flooring department at a local general store. It didn't take long to realize I loved designing spaces and helping customers visualize what a space can become.
In 2002, I graduated from Owens Community College with a degree in Business Administration. While in school, I worked as a kitchen and bath designer for five years, learning the industry and developing a flair for kitchen design. Over the next 10 years I moved about the home improvement industry gaining knowledge and experience, not only in kitchens, but countertops and appliances as well.
What I love the most about kitchen and bath projects is that no two are alike. Every client has a different vision, different needs and wants. I love the challenge of helping the client realize what each of those desires are.
I also enjoy designing functionality by using all of the latest cabinet inserts and accessories to make even the smallest of spaces, convenient and simple to use. So often the most beautiful kitchens on the outside are not the most functional. There is a delicate balance between the two.
In my free time (when I can find some) I enjoy sewing and crafting and spending time with the two most wonderful little girls, my daughters Aislyn and Ava.
Not every dream can become a reality, only the ones you choose to follow.
